OTTO’s opportunity:
Our Accounts Payable Clerk will assist the Director of Finance in the performance of various accounting functions. The results of which will lead to the timely and accurate reporting of the financial position and results of operations of OTTO Engineering, Inc.
Specifically, the Accounts Payable Clerk will:
Prepare vendor invoicing for payment, including coding and matching of receiving reports and purchase order
Enter invoices into computer system
Pull invoices scheduled for payment
Process system generated vendor check runs
Process off-line vendor checks
Tear apart and mail all vendor checks
Administer and reconcile petty cash
Pull invoice of fixed asset accounts and reconcile to general ledger/entry in depreciation software
Filing as applicable
Requires the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Must have excellent figure aptitude and be detail oriented
Post and apply manual wire transfer disbursements
Prepare Re-imbursed Tooling Spreadsheet
Prepare year-end 1099’s
Prepare and maintain various financial spreadsheets
Assist Accounts Receivable as need
Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
What you’ll need to bring to the table:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 to 3 years of related experience
Sound mathematical skills and/or aptitude for figures
Typing, Word, and spreadsheet skills helpful
Availability for nonstandard or extended work schedule
Strong communication, organizational, follow-up and written skill
Requires self-motivation and ability to complete projects with strict guidelines
Must be able to work in a quick paced environment
Proficient use of a 10-key adding machine
General knowledge of ISO 9000
