The salary range for this position is $68,155 – $85,193 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail and result-oriented and self-motivated Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for leading and performing a day-to-day accounts payable functions, solving issues with internal and external customers and working with Accounts Payable Manager for process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. This position reports to Accounts Payable Manager. This is an individual contributor position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Fully understand and perform/support the Procure-to-Pay cycle and monthly AP cycle
• Lead and perform a day-to-day AP operation and manage deadlines while ensuring that payables transactions are being coded accurately and processed efficiently for close periods
• Interface with other departments to meet daily operational needs and support driving cross-departmental P2P process improvements
• Conduct and/or support research and provide resolutions of transactions/accounts to vendors and internal stakeholders that need attention.
• Provide/support the month-end accruals AP report for all entities
• Support implementing and maintaining corporate accounts payable policies, systems and procedures to comply with LVMH’s internal control requirements
• Work closely with procurement team to ensure all payment requirements are met and resolve PO issues
• Support partnering with Treasury team and the banks to ensure all payment solutions are maintained
• Improve system solutions by identifying issues and work with IT team
• Document AP related processes and procedures and maintain training materials
• Support all year-end tax required filings to IRS (1099’s, 1042’s, etc.)
• Support internal audit and regulatory authorities’ examination data requirements

• Learn and provide training/support Medius processing, account code classifications for purchase requisitions, supplier invoices and supplier set up
• Being a back-up for corporate credit card administration and Concur management
• Learn expense reporting guidelines for auditing expense reports
• Support projects related to system upgrades and audits.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members; encourage professional development.
• Build strong working partnerships and work thoughtfully with business partners and vendors
• Serve as a resource to other departments as needed
• Preparing various AP related reports and analysis as requested
• Identify opportunities and lead the implementation of changes to drive improvements
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years experience in accounts payable
• 1+ years of supervising experience preferred
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be highly accurate and detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP system, experience in Dynamics 365 a plus
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel
• Consumer products or manufacturing industry experience required
• Experience with multi-currency is a big plus
