The Autotech Level 1 uses car electronic product knowledge and advanced technical skills to deliver complete automotive fulfillment solutions. This role follows established procedures and guidelines for recommending, troubleshooting, and installing mobile electronics specific to a client’s vehicle. They also provide technical advice, best practices, and support to clients and other employees on mobile electronics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships, networking, and providing solutions to everyday needs.
Installs standard mobile electronic solutions including T- harness remote starts, standard speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers, and in-dash units.
Verifies vehicle make and model of and communicates any compatibility concerns prior to installation.
Leverages resources for standard electronic troubleshooting.
Utilizes provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and fulfill automotive solutions.
Provides a high level of customer service while maintaining Best Buy level 1 certification.
Basic Qualifications
Current, valid driver’s license
Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)
Achieve Best Buy’s level 1 Autotech certification within 90 days of being hired
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with installing mobile electronics
