We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Springfield, MA. In this role, you will be assisting Property Manager with day-to-day operations of several apartment communities.
The position requires in-person interactions with co-workers and customers. For everyone’s safety, vaccination against COVID-19 is encouraged.
Pay: $23-$25/ per hour and Quarterly Incentives
Key Qualifications:
Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred, but not required
Knowledge of affordable housing programs and recertifications for Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD programs. Preferred certifications: COS, CPO or C3P.
Ability to take responsibility for performance of the community, the well-being of residents and the collaborative success of the team.
Ability to effectively communicate with all members of the organization
Experience with administrative and leasing functions, especially within residential property management
Job Responsibilities:
Provide assistance and support with operations of the apartment community, including leasing, rent collections and oversight of maintenance duties.
Perform administrative duties for the leasing/management office.
Ensure compliance with HUD and Agency regulations, including preparing income recertifications for residents in a timely and efficient manner.
