The salary range for this position is $103,654 – $129,568 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Brand Manager will be responsible for driving the North America business for the Fenty Beauty brand. This individual is both a strategic thinker and a business driver, creating and executing short and long-term plans for North America. The role requires strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management & Activation

• Partner with Sr Manager to drive short and long-terms strategies for North America retail channels to meet and exceed company objectives; partner with cross-functional partners to successfully execute
• Build best in class partnerships with retail partners to effectively maximize working relationships and deliver on sales goals
• Build strong and effective relationships with internal teams to bring to life 360 activations (Global Brand, Inventory Planning, Marketing, Education, Creative and Operations)
• Work closely with the retailer.com team to build strategic digital and merchandising strategies
• Be a brand advocate internally & externally: effectively story tell and sell the product pipeline
• Lead preparation for management meetings

Product Merchandising

• Manage channel assortments to maximize productivity and minimize inventory liability; partner closely with Merchandise Planning to ensure retailer buys meet or exceed plan and are actionable
• Partner with Sr Manager and cross functional teams on content creation strategy for new launches and core products, including images, videos and educational content
• Drive in-store visual merchandising for channel, optimizing for sales performance while balancing brand vision, client experience and budget

Reporting & Analysis

• Provide weekly sales recaps, ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
• Be in-tune with the beauty retailer landscape and identify opportunities to further drive the business

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 5-7 years of related business experience, beauty experience preferred
• Previous exposure to the North America market and/or Merchandising, Buying, or Account Management experience preferred but also open to those with experience in management consulting, planning, or finance with a passion for and understanding of the beauty industry
• Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical and creative skills
• Must be an excellent communicator (both in-person and digitally) with strong interpersonal skills
• Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing and client service-oriented
• Ability to own and drive projects with limited direction and to make good judgement calls
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities and work well with cross-functional partners
