Summary:
We are searching for a Senior Clinical Dietician – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide nutritional assessment of pediatric patients, care plan development, and management of needs across the patient care continuum as well as provide education and special project support to the clinical nutrition staff and department.

Qualifications:
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
LD, RD, and AP or CDE, CSO, CSP, CSR, CSSD, IBCLC, EDUHRUSE certification required
4 Years Experience in the nutrition field, including at least two
(2) years in the clinical specialty area of focus
Responsibilities:
Provides nutritional assessment and ongoing development of appropriate plan of care
Provides staff, patient, and community education
Communicates with other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition principles that enhance patient outcomes
Participates in, interprets, and uses research to enhance clinical practice
Documents nutrition care effectively within the medical record
Assumes additional responsibilities for clinical program oversight that promote departmental initiatives
