About the Role Supervises and monitors staff performance and productivity on various operational platforms and strategies. Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures for improving efficiency. Provides direction to personnel. Exercises the usual authority as a supervisor concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations. Provide ongoing assistance in maintaining workflow objectives pertaining to Collection dialing strategies
Monitor call distribution, employee productivity and quality, and effectiveness of operational strategies and techniques.
Assist associates with questions on credit card accounts, all operational platforms, and manage call escalation periods.
Handle unusual or difficult customer problems either through direct personal action or referral to the proper department.
Train and mentor associates.
Responsible for communication of and ensure adherence to State and Federal Regulations, department and company policies and procedures.
Monitor and evaluate individual employee performance, deliver performance reviews, administer salary adjustments, and address employee issues, concerns and future development.
Responsible for monitoring and approving employee time keeping records.
Conduct interviews for new/replacement hires.
Compile and analyze data and documentation necessary for management decision-making.
Review existing procedures for opportunities and submit procedural enhancements.
Monitor staff’s daily productivity and communicate areas of opportunity.
Complete all required Unit Administrator training requirements as outlined in the departments training program.
Meet all deadlines as indicated by Department Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Credit card experience preferred, including prior supervisory experience
Must possess basic understanding of credit card system
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to use positive language
Computer skills to include Microsoft Products such as: Word and Excel
Ability to work as part of a team, and pay attention to detail
Must demonstrate leadership skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to make solid decisions and provide staff with direction
