Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is a leading global provider of environmental, health, safety, risk, and social consulting services. We are currently seeking a Consulting Director, Impact Assessment to join, shape and support the growth of our Canadian regulatory and permitting team. Applicants may be based remotely but should be willing to travel occasionally to one of ERM’s offices or a client site, as needed.
The role requires experience in the mining, infrastructure or natural resource development sectors combined with a demonstrated understanding of applicable provincial/territorial and federal regulatory and permitting requirements for major capital projects. The successful candidate will become a leader within ERM Canada’s regulatory and permitting team and will be connected with ERM’s global team of environmental and social experts.
This posting is designed for a resourceful, motivated person with demonstrated experience and skills in environmental assessment and/or permitting for major projects who enjoys problem-solving and leading teams within a challenging and fast-paced multi-stakeholder environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRABLE SKILLS:
For the Consulting Director, Impact Assessment position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $146,713 – $163,212 CAD. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary based performance bonus.
