Some Key Areas of Responsibility include:
Prepare and maintain a work station including proper labeling and dating, as well as cleanliness
Follow standardized recipes
Maintain proper protein internal cooking temperatures
Check the quality of ingredients, as well as monitor stock and advise of shortages
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent GED
Proven experience as a cook
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a team
Good communication skills
Excellent physical condition and stamina, standing for a minimum of 8 hours
High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
