The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for contributing to the digital and social media team with the execution of digital marketing initiatives in alignment with department strategies and overall business objectives. This role specializes in the areas of social media content and execution, website optimization, content strategy and development and more. Supports development of marketing plans that best position and promote unique products and services in the digital space.
Job Responsibilities
Creates and executes content and editorial calendars and communication plans
Identifies opportunities to enhance social media interaction with clients and/or the general public
Key contributor todevelopment of social media content
Provides localized social media support for individual business unit social media efforts
Experience working with a social media management tool, such as Sprout Social or similarmarketing/business intelligence environment.
Assist in developing, executing, and monitoring marketing programs across a variety of channels
Responsibilities include managing material creation process, researching the market, and providing assistance to internal clients on using marketing tools
Typically follows existing procedures to perform routine assignments and to solve standard problems
Analyzes basic information and standard practices to make decisions impacting work performed
Individual contributor working with direct oversight
Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Education
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Experience
Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience
