Moneris Seeking Director, End-User Services for immediate hire. Accepting applications from all groups.
We are looking for a Director, End-user Services to join the team at Moneris and lead the direction of the End-User Services department to ensure employees have the necessary technology, tools, and services to be productive.
With a focus on employee experience and satisfaction, you will partner with the technology and corporate business organizations to work on projects, operationalize end-user technologies, establishing technology roadmaps, set standards, IT service desk services, and processes.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Services and Operations.
Lead End User enablement teams responsible for the user experience. From end-user devices and tooling to collaboration platforms, different levels of support and IT Services desk
Set direction and oversee End-User services offerings to ensure they are meeting our needs and are in consideration of Technology’s long-term strategy
Evaluate and review staff augmentation requirements
Lead End-user enablement committees with different departments to guide excellence in end-user experience and satisfaction
Create the direction for the design, architecture, engineering, build, administration, and support of End-user services, collaboration technologies; as well the Sponsorship of end-user projects to help our community and meet our needs
Collaborate with senior management in setting and establishing IT strategies and technology road maps
Maintain relationships and negotiate with vendors and partners, plan and acquire End-user hardware, software, services, and manage operational costs; and the ownership of End-user projects and ongoing support budgets
Develop business cases for End-User projects including justifications, and cost/benefit analysis.
Establish, promote and enforce technology standards, road maps, and strategy across End-user Services teams and within Moneris
Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent work experience.
12+ years of experience working in a leadership or End-user enablement position
7+ years experience in a technical leadership position and people management, with experience engaging others and motivating them to achieve broader organizational goals.
Expertise in end-user technologies including desktop/laptop devices, mobile, end user computing, configuration and management tooling, service desk, governance, and compliance.
Experience presenting technical and end-user experience perspectives to senior management to collect support for proposals.
Extensive experience managing budgets, maintaining vendor relationships, and negotiation.
Experience with IT process, governance and IT frameworks.
