Enterprise Operations Analytics – Business Analytics Advisor – Remote

The Enterprise Operations Analytics organization offers solutions that provide actionable insights to internal and external business partners and customers that help reduce health costs, improve outcomes, provide financial security and measure and forecast business performance.

The Business Analytics Advisor position is a hands-on role supporting the creation and maintenance of Operation and Enterprise level metrics, scorecards, and dashboards. Working within EOA, the Analytics Advisor will partner with internal team members and our stakeholders, leading and/or participating in projects centered on reporting, data visualization, dimensional modeling, and data management to ensure the success of our operations stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be leading or assisting in the development of systems to improve the technology stack for our various scorecards, dashboards, and analytical tools. The output of this work will result in our ability to increase affordability for our clients and customers, while providing our Senior Lead Teams with dashboard-related insights needed to drive improvements within their organizations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead or participate in analyses and report/dashboard/scorecard development.
• Deploys dashboards, data models, & operational scorecards using current tools and emerging tools/technologies including Tableau, Python, JavaScript, Angular, etc.
• Collects, aggregates, and organizes information across various technologies.
• Designs and executes operations against various on premise and cloud-based systems including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.
• Presents results of dashboards, analytics research and/or projects to stakeholders and leaders within planning and operations areas.
• Consults with and provides guidance to other analysts/developers to promote growth as a team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data or Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field of study is preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant work experience is acceptable.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Business Analytics and Intelligence required
• Strong proficiency with SQL is required.
• Experience with data visualization and analytical software packages (i.e., Tableau) is required
• Experience with designing and developing database structures and dimensional models is required.
• Experience with programming languages, libraries and frameworks, and Web API’s such as Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, & C# is preferred.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud-based technologies is a plus.
• An innovative and curious mindset is also required. The candidate should be comfortable asking questions of subject matter experts, while possessing the curiosity to think outside of the box.

• Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships across the organization is required.
• Knowledge and experience working in an agile environment is a plus.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 94,300 – 157,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
