Full-time, 40 hours/week, varied work hours, varied days with weekends and some Holidays. Rate of pay $17.47 to $18.45, based on experience. Previous cleaning experience helpful but not required. Adequate reading and writing skills and the ability to comprehend oral instructions; detail oriented; capable of learning the required methods of cleaning used at Kendal; able to work alone or with others; able to work productively without close supervision. Flexible Availability as needed by department and able to work weekends and some holidays. Ability to have outstanding customer service skills with residents and family. Ability to be team player and work well with other members of Environmental Services Department. Outstanding time management and attendance required. Maintain building interior by performing tasks in assigned area operating carpet cleaning equipment and floor scrubbing machines, doing laundry, dusting, vacuuming carpets, cleaning spots from walls and carpets, mopping floors, cleaning windows, bathrooms, tile and fixtures in bath, drapes, blinds, curtains, walls, ceilings, vents, refilling soaps, paper towels, toilet paper and cup dispensers, etc. Trash and recycle removal. Maintain outstanding cleanliness of all assigned areas. Applications accepted until position is filled.
