NVE Inc. is seeking a Facilities Project Manager in support of an operations and maintenance (O&M) contract for a federal agency in Rockville, MD. The program manager will be overseeing over 500,000 square feet across two high-rise buildings with project support for a third building. At a minimum, the Project Manager shall possess at least five (5) years of recent (within the past seven (7) years) responsible experience in managing the operation, maintenance and repair, building alterations, customer relations requirements, and all other operational components of multi-story office buildings with more than 500,000 square feet of occupied space. This includes but is not limited to experience in accomplishing preventive maintenance management and repairs to the following types of systems with similar rated capacities: HVAC systems, electrical systems (such as uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and high voltage switchgear), computerized fire alarm systems, emergency generators, and complex building automation systems. The Project Manager shall generally be available on-site from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday and at any other times required to effectively manage all contract work.
The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives and processes that will achieve overall systems efficiency to meet our customer’s vision for their facilities department ranging from promoting a safety-first culture to supporting documentation for making the case for capital improvements.
