We are looking for a Forklift Driver to join our bindery team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available!

Forklift Operator Starting Rate: $17.50hour for day shift
Hours: 12-hour, 2-star shift: 6am-6pm Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat/Sun/Wed/Thurs Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday
Location: South plant: 1025 Willow Spring Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22801

As a Forklift Operator, you will:

• Operate Forklift equipment, to move materials and finished products
• Scan containers to ensure system accuracy
• Inspect your forklift on a daily basis and service the batteries
• Process departmental paperwork
• Use a computer to utilize the internal company COMN system for job information
• Receive training to help advance your career

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or sit for the entire duration of your shift
