OTTO’s opportunity:
Our Human Resources Coordinator will assist in recruiting and payroll processing along with general support to the Human Resources Department.
Specifically, the Human Resources Coordinator will:
Recruit for hourly positions, including production
Assist with job postings, interview scheduling, drug tests, and background checks
Attend job fairs
Assist with onboarding of new employees
Review payroll timesheets, gather necessary documents, and write reports
Act as a backup for payroll processing
Help plan and set up for company events – annual picnic, company lunches, and various parties
Address employee inquiries and contribute to a positive work environment
Perform routine filing, scanning and archiving records to ensure record retention compliance
Provide general administrative support to the HR Department
Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
What you’ll need to bring to the table:
Associate’s degree in human resources or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Spanish proficiency is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong time management skills, prioritizing tasks to successfully meet deadlines
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
One to three years of recruiting and payroll experience
Effective communication skills, oral and written
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; UKG and Breezy HR ATS experience is a plus
What OTTO offers for this specific position:
The hiring range listed in this posting is what we, in good faith, anticipate relying on when confirming an hourly rate for this position; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience.
Target hourly hiring range: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
Profit Sharing Bonus – OTTO believes that it’s fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year. OTTO’s profit sharing plan is paid at the discretion of the company and is not a guaranteed bonus or any part of a compensation plan.
Vacation: five days after 30 days of employment and 80 hours at 1 year – vacation time is earned on the anniversary date.
