Seaspan Seeking Intern, Innovation for immediate hire. Accepting applications from all groups. Through the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS), the Government of Canada has embarked on one of the largest procurement projects since the Second World War. The NSS is a nation-building effort to create a sustainable Canadian shipbuilding industry, secure long-term job opportunities and build the next generation of ships for the Canadian Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy. Through its NSS-related work, Seaspan Shipyards is owning the redevelopment of our domestic shipbuilding industry on the West Coast and delivering on the promise of ships built in Canada, by Canadians.
The Intern, Innovation will work alongside Innovation managers and engineers to explore and develop solutions in technology areas tailored to the skills and qualifications of the applicant. In your role, you would bring an active interest and experience in developing practical and novel solutions to real-world problems in ONE of the following areas of active investigation:

Seaspan’s Internships are 4 months in duration. We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $26.00/hour.
