Nemours is seeking a IS Clinical App – Associate Analyst to join our team in Orlando, FL! Th is position is responsible for providing direct support for the Department of Surgery in the efficient and accurate utilization of scheduling templates and the electronic medical record. The Associate Analyst should have the ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and template optimization activities designed to maximize patient access. The role of this position includes effectively monitoring the health of scheduling templates including templates being open and available for scheduling as well as ensuring any changes to provider availability are made with advance notice and with minimal impact to patients. acting as a change agent, educator and resource in advancing the strategic mission of Nemours, while advancing knowledge and avoidance of data and systems integrity risks.
Essential Functions:
Achieve and maintain application specific certification in accordance with vendor requirements when available.
Provide site specific, on call support and first line support with the goal of enhancing and elevating proficiency in the use of IS clinical applications to provide administrative and operational oversight within assigned divisions.
Coordinate with the Administrative Director, Operations Manager, Division Chair, Chiefs, and Nurse Managers to ensure patient access is maintained by effectively managing templates and developing countermeasures when necessary.
Partner with the ACS personnel to answer questions and facilitate access to clinic personnel to ensure appropriate patient access.
Enter clinical rescheduling requests with recovery plans that minimize impact to pat ients.
Develop project management skills and utilize project management methodology in daily work to ensure achievement of project goals.
Facilitate change and employ change management methods with the goal of maximizing efficiency and patient access.
Job Qualifications:
Associates Degree required or 5 years of equivalent experience
Minimum 1 years experience in a clinical setting preferred. Prior Nursing, Clinical experience, or Healthcare Operation experience preferred. Expected to obtain the Epic Ambulatory Certification in 90 days of accepting the position.
