Position Summary
The Jr Loan Servicing Analyst plays an important role in the organization by performing several activities related to the company’s Exam/Monitoring and Reporting functions. The role is responsible for providing timely and accurate data entry, tracking/data gathering required for certain reporting and exams by investors, company, state and federal regulations.
Essential Functions
Enter Exam information into the Exam Management Tracker and track all related deliverables including deadlines. Work closely with all business units to ensure timely delivery.
Review, research, and resolve exam, monitoring or related issues as necessary.
Verify and audit information to ensure accuracy.
File and scan documents in accordance with naming conventions and location. Merge documents to create completed document records utilizing adobe software.
Process requests accurately and within established timeframes.
Communicate effectively and periodically with individuals/teams to ensure high quality and timely response and resolution to requests.
Perform all tasks in compliance with applicable regulatory standards, guidelines, and rules established by the company, investors, state and federal regulatory authorities, and local ordinances.
Assist with preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
Retrieve monthly scorecards from the Investors websites for FNMA, GNMA, HUD, and FHLMC and communicates to internal stakeholders.
Maintain complete exam calendar and ensure Wiki is updated as changes occur/as necessary.
Participate in activities and projects designed to improve business performance.
Follow Guild’s information security policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required, some college courses/technical training in Business /Accounting or related field preferred.
Mortgage experience preferred.
Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with all business partners, both internal and external.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret written and verbal directions accurately and consistently.
Proficient with basic internet searches, data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
Supervision
Moderate supervision required, depending on experience level
Travel: 10%
Requirements
Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; occasionally walks and/or stands.
Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
Environmental: Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. This role can be remote, onsite, or a hybrid.
