Position Summary
The role of the Material Demand Planner is to interface with the various internal and external stakeholders responsible for planning, scheduling, and maintaining the material requirements for Work Periods and rectification of deficiencies. One of the primary responsibilities of this role is to identify material demand based on maintenance schedules and coordinate the activities from demand identification to purchase requisition. This includes working closely with the service delivery department, engineering department, project management office, and procurement department to ensure that all necessary materials are obtained in a timely and efficient manner. A key part of this role is ensuring that the required materials are in stock for all required maintenance.
