Worthington’s Cleveland West facility on Heidtman Parkway in Cleveland has an immediate opening in its Shipping & Receiving department for a Material Handler to work as a crane operator on 3rd/Night shift. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to perform their duties to the highest standard.
Internal candidates should discuss their intent to apply with their manager or HR. They must be RFT and in good standing (meet or exceeding expectations) for attendance
safety and performance.
Schedule:
New hires must be able to work and train on 1st shift (Days) for a min. of 45-90 days). Once signed off
they will be assigned to 3rd (Night) Shift – 10pm to 6am
Sun-Thursday. Availability for weekend and periodic overtime work required
varies based on customer demand.
Summary
The primary role for a Material Handler is moving material around the plant or work site with a crane and/or forklift for production to run smoothly
and customer orders to be fulfilled efficiently and accurately. This individual must be detail-oriented to properly load/unload material from trucks or machines
and stage material in a timely and accurate manner.
