Job Description
Northwest Center for Behavioral Health is recruiting for compassionate, dedicated individuals for a Material Management Specialist II at our Fort Supply location! Help us make a difference in the lives of all Oklahomans. About the Position: The Material Management Specialist II receives, issues, ships and arranges stock in proper location. Inspects items for conformance with specifications. Acts as liaison to the agency purchasing agent/Central Purchasing. Confers with department heads, vendors and outside agencies concerning purchases, deliveries and acceptability of supplies. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of storage methods and procedures; of inventory methods and techniques and maintaining detailed inventory records; of warehousing practices and techniques; of stock handling; of the operation of warehouse equipment; and of stock identification methods. Ability is required to store and warehouse a variety of supplies; to maintain detailed inventory records; to maintain accurate warehouse records; and to follow oral and written instructions. Skill is required to operate a fork lift.

Level II: Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of two years experience in receipt, storage, or stock handling work, and issuance of material; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

We provide complete mental health and substance abuse services for the individuals of Northwest Oklahoma in our outpatient offices, enhanced residential program and our inpatient psychiatric unit. We are currently recruiting for a Material Management Specialist III for our Fort Supply Location!
Special Requirements:
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background.
Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary.
Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
(if Required) Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and be able to pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
