The purpose of the Manager, Incentives is to lead a team providing exceptional incentive expertise, create feasible and impactful solutions that drive organizational performance, and support employees in interpretation and issue resolution.
• Has a deep understanding of all brands and key roles to ensure incentive plans align with business objectives and drive desired outcomes
• Influences support partners (FASS, P&C) on key decisions and drive toward project timelines
• Performs commission and incentive processing activities for assigned business unit(s)
Making an Impact
• Acts as the voice of the Incentives team, heavily relied upon by Finance Directors for commission analyses that impact brand P&L
• Learns and builds technical expertise, developing skills and capabilities of direct reports to execute configuration and setup tasks in Vericent system
• Provides support to field and sales organizations by researching and timely responding to inquiries. May require developing a project plan, gaining commitment to the plan, and driving execution in accordance with project timelines
• Manages relationship with compensation team – plan design, build and modeling
• Contribute to broader Finance team goals and objectives
• Evaluate issues and develop plans to address root cause issues systemically vs situationally
People Leadership
• Coaches, mentors, and drives performance of team (Incentive Analysts and Specialist; 3 direct reports)
• Oversees day to day work of the Incentive team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensures they are delivering effective field support and coaching on how to view and understand incentives
• Escalates issues and provides ongoing updates to leadership on progress against strategic initiatives
• Manages the work products and resourcing models of third party vendor Varicent (equivalent of 0.5 HC)
Your Typical Day
• Escalation point for all incentive team questions
• Tracking and analyzing commission/incentive activity
• Troubleshoot system calculation and reporting problems and resolve internally or utilize Varicent relationship to fix
• Attend brand finance leadership meetings
• Hybrid work model- expectation of in-office attendance 3 days per week

Qualifications:
Required
• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Finance: 5+ years in Finance group or Public Accounting, conducting customer or product-specific financial analysis
• Proficiency in commission tools (Varicent or similar software) and analytics tools (advanced Excel/MS suite)
Nice to Have
• Leadership: Prior people management
• Experience working in a large, global, matrixed organization
