Summary:
We’re looking for a Senior Network Analyst, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position you will support Local and Wide Area Networks, and Wi-Fi networks by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining an institutional data network.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Resolves complex technical issues.
Resolves complex technical issues involving network equipment and the software which operates it, high availability applications, clustered hosts, in a multiple protocol, mixed media environment (copper and fiber-optic cabling plants).
Participates in resolution of complex technical issues involving multiple applications, systems and technical teams following Departmental “Crisis Management” guidelines.
As applicable, partners with other teams to evaluate and mitigate risks of cyber threats to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Understands and conducts analysis of packet capture data.
As needed, engages with vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
Plans network growth.
Installs network hardware.
Coordinates establishment of network to host connection.
Maintains network documentation.
Maintains network equipment and hot spare device inventory.
Performs other essential job-related duties.
Skills & Requirements
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
Required H.S. Diploma or GED
Required 7 years’ experience in information systems
Bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience. Master’s degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience
