OneLink Application Developer I- IT
Salary- $53,000.00

GENERAL FUNCTION
The OneLink Application Developer has direct responsibility in the configuration and implementation of a COTS web-based software solution for the Oklahoma Tax Commission’s integrated tax accounting, revenue processing and tax administration application. This position is responsible for the promoting, practicing, and delivering of customer service in a demanding service-oriented environment. This position works with users, management and others to identify and define long- and short-range information systems requirements.
The OneLink Application Developer may be assigned responsibilities involving the planning and development of automated tax applications systems, tax systems maintenance, tax computer operations, and similar information technology functions within the Information Technology division to support the business needs the Oklahoma Tax Commission. This includes review and analysis of user functions and activities, evaluation of available resources and current systems, and the development of appropriate tax programs or systems. Works with users, management and others to identify and define long and short-range information services requirements.

The OneLink Application Developer has three levels, which are distinguished by the level of complexity of specific job assignments, the extent of knowledge and experience with specific tax operating systems, the level of expertise required for the completion of assigned projects, or the responsibility for the supervision of others.
Level I is the entry-level where employees are assigned responsibilities for performing work in a training status to build their skills in tax application development and analysis methodologies. In this role, they will be assigned tasks which involve writing programs for routine maintenance or changes in tax application systems, writing individual program screens or reports, and similar activities involving the development of basic tax applications programs and systems.

PREFERENCE STATEMENT
Preference may be given to candidates with experience in .Net and/or SQL programming and/or experience with operational web based applications from concept to deployment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Core work hours for the Oklahoma Tax Commission are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. This schedule may require minor flexibility based on the needs of the agency.
Telework may be required based on the needs of the agency, division, and section. If applicable, applicant must be willing and able to BOTH work on-site and telework at an off-site location, generally in the applicant’s home. Applicant must have a secure internet connection and a dedicated telephone (landline) or smart phone device during scheduled working hours.
