Summary/Purpose: In collaboration with the Plant Manager, they will develop the production plan to optimize the most cost-effective production plan (make to order, build to forecast/slit to order) maintaining the targeted customer service level and balancing inventory cost against production expense. This position will collaborate closely with Purchasing to best meet raw material needs.

Job Qualifications, Equipment and/or Experience:
Ability to lead, motivate, select, train and instruct personnel. Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Must demonstrate strong decision-making skills, sound judgment and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. B.B.A./B.S. degree in a business-related field; advanced degree in Supply or Logistics preferred and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing planning and scheduling role. Must have knowledge of cGMP’s and FDA regulatory guidelines. Must have a great deal of integrity, interpersonal skills, initiative and a self-starter committed to finding process improvements. Must be a self-motivated problem solver who will drive projects and people.
