JOB SUMMARY
Nabors is seeking PLC-Automation Engineer for the controls and automation team. Provide hands-on support for model and PLC code for engineering development projects. Be part of the Digital Twins and Simulator laboratory team that participates in creating system levels test applications for controls and automation systems. Test, analyze and resolve technical issues, while writing new code or revising code, which helps drive business results. Build your career and knowledge in real life business scenarios. Full time position based in Houston, TX.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Gain knowledge and experience in automation and maintenance.
PLC programming and debugging skills.
Develop with Rockwell automation library objects, ladder logic, function block diagrams (FBD) and sequential function charts (SFC).
Document & test models.
Thrive in a dynamic working environment.
Work with software engineers to meet deliverables.
Participate in test lab with rig simulator.
Able to analyze data and understand the relationships and correlations.
