ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
The motivated and impassioned PR Specialist will support the PR team in all consumer initiatives and campaigns. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of experience in a PR agency and/or in-house PR team. Creative thinking and expert communication skills are a must to assist the team in generating fresh, new ideas to drive awareness for our consumer brands. This individual will closely monitor press coverage and be responsible for measuring quarterly and yearly KPIs, plus the success of each PR campaign. This individual will report to the Associate Director of Consumer PR, partner closely with editorial, research/insights, brand partnerships and other teams, and assist in managing the external PR agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the management and execution of consumer PR campaigns for various top-tier initiatives and evergreen, always-on opportunities
Manage press coverage and track metrics analysis on an ongoing basis including weekly updates on goal progress, monthly, quarterly and yearly analysis, etc.
Develop campaign recaps including detailed analysis of tactics and results
Serve as team point of contact for incoming press requests, managing communication with press and TKWW consumer spokespeople.
Assist with spokesperson media training and prep sessions
Compile and share weekly global PR highlights with industry and consumer news and trends for marketing team
Assist in day-to-day management of PR agency of record
Assist with coordinating communications among Global PR colleagues (managing team meeting agendas, capturing notes/next steps and participating in team discussions, brainstorms and sharing of key learnings)
Serve as the lead PR spokesperson on internal weekly update calls with cross-functional teams, sharing PR updates.
Always have a finger on the pulse on Gen-Z and industry news and trends, and proactively make strategic recommendations based on new findings
Support team in other efforts and tasks as needed
SUCCESSFUL PR SPECIALIST CANDIDATES HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree (a focus in Communications is a plus)
3+ years of experience in an agency or in-house consumer PR role
At least one prior full-time role in the media relations/public relations/marketing field preferred
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Timely responsiveness to media requests and emails
Expert-level experience in PR analytics and measurements
Proactive approach with a professional demeanor & a can-do attitude
Fresh, innovative thinking and ideas sharing
Consistent attention to detail
Excellent research skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable presenting in team meetings
Top notch organizational skills
