About the Position: Under general supervision, the individual will work with the initiatives that impact the Business, Family and Faith-Based Sectors, including state and local partners for Mental Health First Aid and Responsible Beverage Sales & Service Training. This position works with providers to plan and develop needed prevention services, provides and/or links with technical assistance and training, and monitors existing programs. Ensures compliance with ODMHSAS standards, evidence-based strategy requirements and other applicable governing/codified standards in managing and delivering prevention services.
Job Type/Salary:
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Human Relations, Psychology, Public Health, Public Administration, Education or related degree and four years professional experience in behavioral health field, of which two years must be in substance abuse prevention or other related prevention or public health experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
NOTE: No substitution for bachelor’s degree.
Preference may be given to applicants who are a Certified Prevention Specialist.
