This is a non-exempt position with the primary responsibilities of ensuring timely delivery, providing complete and accurate job data, and communicating with vendors for the purpose of purchasing and expediting parts Individual will also be performing purchase, manufacturing and intercompany order entry within SAP systems and follow up on acknowledgements. In addition, this position is responsible for delivery of product to the intended destination and maintains conformity to requirements. This position will work with the Customer Service Liaison to meet the delivery requirements of our customers while being an influencer, who provides qualitative feedback and quantitative data to his/her internal customers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Communicate with vendors for the purpose of purchasing and expediting parts.
· Purchase order entry and follow up of acknowledgements.
· Manufacturing order entry and distribution to shop.
· Key punching of kit lists and manufactured orders.
· Intercompany order entry and purchasing
· Review and resolution of match exception report
· Cross training and backup of team members
· Month end closing duties as needed.
· Produces Job Packs that contain complete and accurate information and as required in support of the manufacturing production schedule.
· Assists shop to answer and resolve questions or issues.
· Conduct daily review of shipping schedule to identify and prioritize shipment activities.
· Maintains records and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and tags.
· Responsible for adhering to Import/Export regulations.
· File freight claims for both inbound and outbound related to lost or damaged product.
· Actively participate in Visibility of Unit Completion partnering with Operations
· Communicate outbound shipping information with critical stakeholders.
· Ensure carriers make dock scheduling appointments in TMS.
NATURE & SCOPE
The position serves in a support role to Supply Chain Department. The Production- Inventory Control Coordinator will report to the Demand Planning and Logistics Supervisor. The position also supports all BAC WIGs while portraying an innovative mind-set to support the Dayton TN plant.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

· Good understanding of BAC Bill of Material structure and Submittal formats.
· Knowledge of Fab Sheet Process including use of Source Codes and Inventory Locations.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The position is predominately an indoor office position with frequent interaction on the plant floor. The working environment includes lifting up to 50lbs. Sitting at a workstation is expected 80% of the time withstanding and walking expected up to 20% of the time. Additional activities include reaching, bending, and stooping. Fine hand manipulation related to keyboarding and writing. Working hours usually day shift but can include any of three shifts as needs arise. Some evening weekend overtime is to be expected dependent on plant volume. Working temperatures include both indoor climate control and wide fluctuations within the plant as well as ambient outside temperatures.
