• Starting pay $20.00/hour plus a $1.50/hr shift differential for off shifts!

We ensure our employees are safe

with the support and continuous training to exceed expectations

including their own! Start as a Material Handler and cross-trained to perform multiple tasks throughout the day on the shopfloor or production line to ensure safe and quality production. You may be responsible for packaging

setting up & assisting with machine operation

and moving materials are responsible for moving material around the plant with a forklift and/or crane for production to run smoothly. In addition

a Material Handler may package/band material

weigh

load/unload material from machines and stage material and setting up machines for running.

Schedule

• New hires must be able to work and train on 1st shift (Days) or a min. of 30-90 days) once signed off

  they will be offered an off-shift position on 2nd (Afternoon) or 3rd (Night) Shift. Every effort will be made to meet an employee’s off-shift preference.

Responsibilities

• Moves material around plant using a forklift and/or crane for producing

  finishing

  packaging

  or shipping the customer product.

• Moves and stages material as scheduled for optimum machine efficiency.
• Packages finished product for shipment.
• Follows bill of material to match product with proper packaging and skidding.
• Performs multiple tasks to ensure ongoing machine operation.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks throughout plant to ensure safe

  efficient and quality production of materials.

• May perform housekeeping duties within the plant when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

• Must be able to handle physical

  repetitive work

  stand on your feet for up to 12 hours a day

  and work in extreme temperatures (seasonal high heat/cold exposure). Manuel dexterity

  fine motor skills and good hand/eye coordination needed. Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)

  and reaching overhead.

• Full mobility

  including extensive walking

  use of stairs

  ability to maintain balance and walk on uneven surfaces

  is required.

• Mechanical aptitude a plus

  but not required

• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• Must have good safety awareness and efficiency skills
• 0-6 months prior experience a plus

  but not required

• We will provide you with OSHA safety training

  but if you already have it that’s a plus!

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Forklift and crane license

  highly preferred

• Ability to fulfill training requirements and adjust schedule according to changing production demands

  including weekend or overtime work
