Ranch Ehrlo Society’s Treatment Foster Care program is currently seeking for qualified foster parents in the Prince Albert area to join our impassioned team of professionalized foster families.
The successful candidates will ideally assume responsibility for two children (between the ages of 6-11 years) in their care as well as ensure that they are actively involved with their birth family and the community. Caregivers are provided with training, clinical and consultative support, and respite services, including access to a 24-hour on-call system. Foster parents work collaboratively with a number of professionals and participate in treatment planning and implementation for children in their care.
The agency will provide competitive professional remuneration through a service contract.
Parental care givers will have:
Past training/experience and natural abilities to work with children.
The ability to parent one or two children (preferably two)
Their own home in the Prince Albert area with one or two spare bedrooms
A loving and supportive family environment
One parent must stay at home full-time
Background : The Treatment Foster Care Program helps children and youth, between the ages of 5-11 years old, develop and maintain healthy relationships with their families and plan for reunification.
The primary goal of the program is to provide a supportive and loving family environment in which children and youth can develop to their full potential.
Contracted service rates will range from $4200 to $5400 per month, based on the number of children placed in your home.
