Position Summary
Thales is looking for an AJISS Program Engineer – Naval Architect to provide Engineering Services in support of the Royal Canadian Navy Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPV), Joint Support Ship (JSS) class vessels managed by Thales under the AOPS & JSS In-Service Support (AJISS) contract and Minor Warships and Auxiliary Vessels managed by Thales under the MWAV contract. Engineering services include conducting surveys, technical investigations, researching ship staff queries, developing repair specifications and job instructions for preventive or corrective maintenance as well as developing and overseeing test and trials. The Program Engineer – Naval Architect will report to the Engineering Services Lead and liaise with the Service Delivery group to provide timely support with Defects resolution.
