As a leadership association, the IACP starts with our members’ needs. We think strategically and assess constantly; cultivate good judgement and drive change. We are looking to hire project coordinators for the below mentioned projects:
Vicarious Trauma Response Initiative. This initiative provides resources and training materials to the field related to the impact of vicarious trauma on first responders, victim services, and allied professionals. The goal of the initiative is to use the knowledge gained from 12 project sites to promote collaborative approaches that mitigate the adverse effects of vicarious trauma.
The Law Enforcement-Based Victim Services (LEV) Program provides training and technical assistance to law enforcement agencies across the United States. To date, this project has served 72 agencies in their efforts to establish new or enhance existing law enforcement-based victim services programs to effectively serve victims of crime in their jurisdictions.
