How You Will Make an Impact:

The Quality Intern will be responsible for measuring parts.

The Nuts and Bolts:

• Read and interpret mechanical part drawings
• Measure parts with tape measure
• Will work alone but work closely with our Supply Quality Engineer
• Work and adhere to all safety policies

Required Credentials:

• Must be able to read a tap measure down to the 1/16″ – will be tested
• Must be able to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals
• Must be precise and detail orientated
• Must be able to communicate effectively and ask for help when needed

Preferred Credentials (but not required):

• Correctly operate calipers (will train)
• Read mechanical part drawings (will train)

You Must Be Able to:

• This job operates in a lab environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear). The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces). The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands, and have the ability to climb ladders and/or work in high places.
