Join our compliance team to help safeguard the reliability of the electric power grid and wholesale markets by ensuring the company’s operations adhere to state and federal regulations. The world of compliance is ever changing and becoming more and more complex. Help grow your technical and leadership skills while assisting ERCOT teams to keep up to date with the latest regulations.
Works closely with ERCOT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure that ERCOT ISO meets or exceeds the reliability performance requirements in accordance with ERCOT Protocols and Operating Guides. Reviews ERCOT Market Participant performances, provides reports, and works with entities to improve or mitigate performance issues. Reviews, provides comments, and recommends Protocol and Operating Guide revisions to ensure they meet reliability needs and support compliance with the NERC Standards, and ERCOT Regional Reliability Standards. Ensures System Operations policies and procedures are in place as needed to demonstrate compliance with the requirements. Coordinates with relevant personnel in each group to ensure the appropriate business processes are in place and documented in the form of descriptive processes or procedures
