Full-time, 36 hours/week, Evening/Night Shift, Sign on bonus $6,000 paid in installments, three 12 hour shifts every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnights with some holiday requirement. Rate of pay $32.97 to $38.36, based on experience. Must have current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse. Previous experience in leadership is preferred. CPR certified, effective communication, Charge/Clinical & Team Leadership skills. The desire to work as part of a team providing hands-on and clinical care to elderly residents in a skilled nursing facility. Previous experience in long-term care setting is preferred, candidate will also possess good organization, observation, documentation, hands-on care and communication skills as well as electronic medical records. Carries out and verifies medication orders. Notes change and condition in residents reporting to MD as appropriate. Assists with the care of residents including bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring. Ability to stand/walk most of shift, ability to push, pull, lift, and transfer residents. Assist with daily living activities in a nursing environment. Promotes and restores residents’ quality of life by providing nursing care as determined by the needs of the residents and their individual plans of care. Submit resume and application.
