RN OR Circulator ASC

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including two doses of a 2-dose series or a single dose of a 1-dose series prior to start date. Fully vaccinated is defined as 14 days post series completion date.

SCHEDULE: Part time, 30 hours/week – 3 x 10-hour shifts

Vancouver Clinic has a fantastic opportunity for an OR Circulator-RN to join our growing Ambulatory Surgery Center at the new state-of-the-art facility in Salmon Creek2! We are opening six new operating rooms that provide service line expansion, multi-specialty outpatient services, including Pediatrics and Robotic-Assisted surgery.

In this role you will a ssist the surgeons during procedures and provide patients with safe, effective care throughout the process of surgery. To be successful in this role you will possess efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of operation procedures and patient safety, be a critical thinker and able to act quickly.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Ensure the surgical asepsis is adhered to during the surgical procedure,
• Conduct inventory of supplies and equipment used during and after the procedure.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team.

Education

• Current unencumbered WA State RN license required.
• Experience as operating room nurse, circulating and scrub preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS, and PALS required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• CNOR certification a plus.
• Conscious sedation experience a plus.

Pay Range:
$41.77 – $62.65
