Sales Business Performance Analyst

Mars Incorporated Seeking Sales Business Performance Analyst for immediate hire. Accepting applications from all groups. Job Description:

The Sales Business performance analyst is accountable for reporting & analysis to support the sales team in optimizing sales performance, business reporting, and retail communication. This role will provide support to the account team and have interaction cross functionally to drive action against KPI’s. The business analyst will play a key role in preparing the account team for joint business planning and other customer meetings and interactions.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Performance Analysis and recommendations:

• Customer data reporting
• Consumer promotion and loyalty point effectiveness
• Score carding and KPI evaluation
• Publish Periodic Customer Scorecards
• Develop customer meeting preparation and internal updates
• Seasonal sell through monitoring & reporting
• Leverage POS/Nielsen data and provide team with Innovation results and opportunities
• Sales trends, category trends, competitive trends

Retail Leadership

• Provide retail team with canned reporting
• Provide direction in order to close distribution gaps, sales goals, etc.
• Scrubbing SKU level detail to ensure cascading is accurate

Sales Admin:

• Admin within Multi Team – Listing Forms, Item set up, administrative asks, etc.

Reconciling Trade Deductions

• Validation of events versus planned dimensions
• Working with Indirect Account leaders to ensure system is current and planned correctly
• Processing and reconciliation of trade deductions and post audits
