the Worthington Steel team is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to be a key contributor to what will be a newly formed internal tax team. We seek a smart
innovative
and curious tax professional with basic tax knowledge and accounting skills. You will work closely with the head of tax and others in the department as we define and set up what we do and how we do it.
The ideal candidate will contribute ideas and suggestions freely to the overall process design and not afraid to challenge the status quo. Candidates will have some previous experience with ASC740 and tax compliance preparation and a passion for tax process optimization.
This position will report to the Global Tax Operations Manager directly and will support the Global Tax Technical Senior Manager indirectly.
Primary Responsibilities:
Technology & Process Improvement:
Tax Accounting:
current and deferred tax provisions
taxes payable
and return to provision adjustments.
Tax Compliance:
quarterly
and annual tax filings for Worthington’s corporate subsidiaries and joint ventures.
Subpart F
GILTI
and FDII.
