Position Summary
The position is for a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer who will be operating in a team environment. The position involves the design and support of microprocessor-based circuit boards and system level designs meeting strict physical security requirements. The scope of the projects is from design concept to production end of life.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of high-level hardware board and system level design.
• Trade off analysis of cost, area, power
• Security and regulatory compliance
• ECO friendly design practices
• Proficient at detailed digital logic and analog design implementation, signal integrity, and PCB layout of complex multilayer printed circuit boards.
• Working knowledge of high-speed interfaces: DDR4/5, PCI Express, USB, Ethernet.
• Verilog CPLD/FPGA design and simulation experience.
• Hands-on experience debugging and verification using in circuit emulators, scopes, logic analyzers, bus analyzers.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 10 year of hardware design engineering experience delivering complex embedded system designs into production. Written and spoken English is essential.
Preferred
• Detailed FIPS 140-3, PCI-HSM physical security requirements knowledge
• Detailed regulatory certifications experience
• Understanding of mechanical design principles.
• HDI PCB layout
Special Position Requirements
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; Core Business Hours Monday-Friday
