Sr. Manager Integrated Data Clinical Analytics

Integrated Data Analytics team within Evernorth’s Intelligence+ organization provides descriptive, prescriptive to predictive analytics to partners within Intelligence+, clinical solutions, supply chain, marketing, and sales/account teams.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The primary focus of this position is to provide strong analytics support for evolving areas within Intelligence+ requiring integrated data support such as Care+, Forsyth and other cross enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone with strong understanding of multiple types of health care data, passionate about leveraging analytics to solve for biggest pain points and ability to effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to business stakeholders. He/she is expected to have fundamental understanding of different statistical modeling techniques, pilot development and implementation, and general health service research concepts. The selected candidate will interface with clinical, reporting, product development, operations, and marketing departments as appropriate.

The JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

• Collaborate with business partners within Intelligence+ department, clinical solution, supply chain, sales, and marketing as appropriate to determine the best roadmap and positioning for integrated data analytical support related to top healthcare issue or clinical solution
• Guide the development and analysis of total population and topic specific analytics from proof of concept, data management to data analysis, interpretation, and presentation to internal and external stakeholders
• Extraction and analysis of large healthcare claims data, conduct opportunity analysis including descriptive and multivariate statistics to identify patterns in the data
• Presentation of results and recommendations to non-technical business partners and stakeholders to drive the decision-making process and support business operations for internal and external customers.
• The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated, flexible and embrace change. In addition, the candidate will know evaluation research design techniques and their strengths and weaknesses.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL OFFER:

• Leadership competencies with the ability to collaborate with others and establish working relationships, communicate effectively across the organization and at different levels, think and act strategically, and influence key leaders
• Advanced degree or equivalent preferred
• Comprehension of healthcare data (e.g., ICD-9/ICD-10, claims, profiling), statistical analysis experience, and demonstrated understanding of health care and delivery system processes
• 7+ years of analytics experience with healthcare data (Rx and medical claims, clinical, pharmacy, publicly and privately sourced)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS, SQL and querying data across relational databases (Teradata, SQL databases), cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and bid data (Ex. Hadoop, Hive).
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to a variety of audiences
• Self-motivated, comfort with ambiguity, and flexible

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 117,800 – 196,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
