Position Overview:

We are looking fortwoSr. Supply Chain Plannersto lead Packaging and Raw Material buying.

The Sr. Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain Planners for either Raw Materials or Packaging.They will need to work with the team to optimizethe supply chain for Voyant Beauty. He or she will use operational know-how, and advanced analytics capabilities to help the business create a more efficient, flexible, and responsive supply chain. They will need to be a change agent.  The successful candidate will use reporting and their get it done mentality to reduce turns, improve on time deliveries, and overall lead a department to be a world class supply chain organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving demand management to improve forecast accuracy %’s

• Resolution of challenges, following the escalation process where relevant and making critical decisions with the ability to develop root cause analysis

• Responsible for stock categorization, MRP settings and system updates, including lead-time, default vendor, EOQ/MBQ, safety stock levels, min/max values, Box qty and freight term/%’s

• Assistin leadingthe planning, material requirements and inventory management processes, including inventory estimating, deep dive analysis of the inventory profile, inventory investment and E&O prevention

• Support the development of Supply Chain new initiatives and cross-functional teams in continuous improvement programs

• Identify/develop team objectivesand tactics and drive execution of the plans

• Support the NPI/Change Management process within the Supply Chain function and work with the cross functional departments to ensure a smooth and successful launch

• Ensure full compliance with internal and external audits

• Assistin special projects and other duties as they arise.

• Other skills and duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Math/Statistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management 

• At least 3-5 years of Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Supply Chain experience 

• Experience with a demand or supply planning software, e.g., DemandWorks, Logility, SAP APO/APS, Oracle APO, JDA, Manugistics etc. 

• Ability to interpret analysis results using a variety of techniques and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively 

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment 

• Used to workona fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience working within manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of distribution of goods and manufacturing processes.

• Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset.

• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, along with forecasting and analyzing data and financial information.

• The ability to manage people, build teams and communicate effectively.

• Analyzing and researching operational and strategic information and determining appropriate actions;

• PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and others as needed
