The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. This role ensures smooth coordination between procurement, production, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
Manage procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution processes
Monitor supplier performance and negotiate contracts and pricing
Forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels
Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics teams
Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners
Oversee shipping, receiving, and transportation operations
Lead and mentor supply chain staff and improve team performance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA or related field)
Professional certifications (e.g., APICS/CPIM, CSCP)
Experience with data analytics and forecasting tools
