Job Summary for the Van Driver:
The primary responsibility of the van driver is to provide transportation to residents in the community. This position requires a valid driver’s license and safe driving history. Knowledge of handicapped accessories and safe transportation practices are required. Driver will be available for scheduled medical appointments, routine shopping trips, scheduled church services and outings. Driver will interact with residents to schedule transportation and maintain an accurate appointment calendar. May assist residents with special needs such as walkers or wheelchairs and operate bus to accommodate special needs of residents.
